Responsibilities

• Upgrade existing customers and develop strategies to penetrate accounts with the key decision makers to offer Canon Solutions America's INNOVATIVE hardware and software technology-based solutions.
• Performs extensive customer needs analyses and site surveys at customer locations.
• Prepares proposals, presentations, and conducts product demonstrations.
• Prospects for new business opportunities through cold calling, both in person and via telephone.
• Conduct sales presentations/proposals with support from "specialty analysts" and Canon Solutions America support experts.
• Develop selling strategies; maintain after-sale customer relationships with the support of Canon SolutionsAmerica support teams in marketing and customer service.
• Complete all sales orders, reporting, and other business reports as needed.
• Gain and maintain proficiency in product and promotional knowledge for long term career growth

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required

• A minimum of 1 year recent business to business, outside sales experience.
• Strong communication skills including the desire to build solid working relationships with a variety of businesses.
• An interest in learning new technology in an evolving industry.
• The ability to work autonomously and excellent time management skills.
• Some travel required within local market (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary).
